the Junkanoo Jam on Grand Bahama Island. Spend Thanksgiving
weekend enjoying the beach, water, and average daytime temperature in the
high 70’s.
The
tournament hotel is Radisson Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort which has over
2000 feet of white sand beach, 14 themed restaurants,
2 golf courses, and a brand new Casino, all on hotel grounds!!! Grand
Bahama Island is only 60 miles due east of Florida and has non-stop
flights from over 15 U.S. cities.

Tournament Host
Bahamas Basketball Federation.
Tournament Format
Two Counting games in two four-team brackets.
Three NCAA officials
will be used for each game.
Tentative Tournament Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrive in Freeport/Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island
DAY 2: Beach Time, Watersports, Golf, Casino, etc.; Practice
DAY 3: Shoot around; Tournament Game
DAY 4: Shoot around; Tournament Game
DAY 5: Depart for home
Accommodations
The Radisson Our Lucaya Beach & Golf Resort is the tournament host
hotel. The resort features 7.5 acres of white sand beach, 3 large
pools, casino, fitness center, 2 golf courses, a full-size outdoor
basketball court, tennis, 14 restaurants, and an attached shopping
village with over 70 stores, restaurants, and straw market. Water
sports include jet skis, sailboats, kayaks, and parasailing.
