Basketball Travelers Inc. is proud to announce the women’s Junior College basketball tournament, the Surf ‘N Slam San Diego College Hoop Classic. Home to its high school counterpart since 1991, the Surf ‘N Slam also boasts NCAA Division1, 2 and Small College women’s tournaments as well.

With 70 miles of sandy beaches, warm sunshine, the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Tijuana, Mexico and many other exciting sights, San Diego proves to be one of the West Coast’s most exciting travel destinations.

The fabulous Westin Gaslamp Quarter is the official tournament hotel, right in the heart of the famous San Diego GasLamp District. A visit to the San Diego Zoo, a ride on the famous San Diego Trolley, and the great shopping and restaurants of the adjacent Horton Plaza Mall round out a perfect tournament experience.

Guaranteed 2 games (all Junior College teams).

Booking Procedures
All tournaments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have called us and indicated your interest in participating, Basketball Travelers, Inc. will send you a contract to be returned within three weeks of receipt.

Accommodations
In San Diego you will stay 3-4 nights at the luxurious Westin Gaslamp Quarter. It features 450 spacious guest rooms, heated outdoor pool with Jacuzzi and sundeck, a 3,000 square foot health club. Best of all, it is located in the Horton Plaza Mall, which includes 14 theatres, numerous restaurants, and over 140 shops. Horton Plaza is also in the heart of the historic Gas-lamp Quarter, in the center of San Diego’s Downtown, just minutes from Seaport Village and the Coronado Ferry.

Tentative Tournament Itinerary:
Day #1: Arrive in San Diego
Day #2: Visit San Diego Zoo; practice
Day #3: Continental breakfast; Tournament Game #1
Day #4: Trolley trip to Tijuana; Tournament Game #2
Day #5: Depart for home

Your Tournament Package Includes
The per person price includes 3-4 nights at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, all ground transportation needs (to/from San Diego Airport, Games and the San Diego Zoo), trolley pass (used to go to Tijuana), tournament continental breakfast, tournament gift, and a ticket to the San Diego Zoo (including the narrated bus tour and sky ride).

Price Does Not Include
Round-trip air tickets to San Diego, meals, travel insurance & incidentals.

The tournament package price per person is based on many things specific to your team's needs and wishes. These include how many nights you plan on staying, and how many persons you will have in each room.
