There are three women’s tournaments: the Harbor Tournament, the Island Tournament, and the Reef Tournament. Each tournament includes four teams, and each team will play two games. The Harbor Tournament exclusively showcases mid-major teams. The 2026 participating teams are to be announced soon.

Pre-Sale Tournament Passeswill be shipped directly to your home prior to your departure for the U.S. Virgin Islands. You can also purchase your passes right on the island. Just swing by the UVI Arena ticket booth on the first day of either the men’s or women’s tournament. While we do not offer individual game tickets, we do have day passes! Just visit the same ticket booth on the day you’d like to attend, and you’re all set to get a single-day game pass.

Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft are not yet available in the U.S. Virgin Islands, as they are unregulated. The most reliable transportation options are taxis or rental cars. Avis/Budget, a long-time sponsor of the Paradise Jam, offers a special rental car discount for fans.

The simplest way to get from Cyril E. King Airport (STT) to your hotel is by taxi. Taxis are readily available at the airport. For a smoother experience, you can book a ride in advance with Best Taxi, our trusted tournament sponsor, by calling 340-474-1346 or emailing BestTaxi@gmail.com.

Safari Bus*: Paradise Jam game transfers are facilitated using open-air vehicles with covered, bench-style seating.
Schedule: From your hotel, Safari buses will depart just outside the lobby. Returning from UVI, the buses will depart from the parking lot in front of the Sports and Fitness Center to the right of the main entrance as you exit. Transportation passes will be required to board the bus.

Opening Time: Doors open one hour prior to the tipoff of the first game of the day.
Tournament Passes: Can be purchased online prior to November 1 or at the gate (cash only) beginning one hour prior to tipoff of the first game each day.

There is no reserved seating. All seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. However, fans of the competing teams are given priority for seating directly behind the bench.

English is the official language, but you may notice colorful dialects and expressions that might take some time to get accustomed to.

Greetings: Use "good morning," "good afternoon," or "good night" when greeting locals. "Good night" is used as a greeting, not a farewell.
Driving: Drive on the left and honk to thank drivers. Look right when crossing the street.
Tipping: Follow U.S. tipping customs, around 20-25%.
Dress Code: Casual but appropriate. Swimsuits are for the beach only. The arena may be chilly, so pack accordingly.

U.S. Citizens do NOT need a passport to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands. You can clear U.S. Customs in St. Thomas with a government-issued photo ID, such as a Driver’s License. However, having a passport can help expedite the customs process.

Clearing customs and security in St. Thomas involves multiple steps, so it’s recommended that you arrive at the airport at least three hours before your flight departure time.

The local currency is the U.S. Dollar (USD). Credit cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and shops, but cash is still king in St. Thomas, so it’s advisable to carry cash.

Mineral-Based Sunscreen: Mineral-based sunscreen is specially formulated to protect your skin while minimizing harm to coral reefs and marine life. When visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands, it's important to use mineral-based sunscreen, as traditional sunscreens can contain chemicals that contribute to coral bleaching and damage underwater ecosystems. Some popular options include Badger, All Good, Blue Lizard, ThinkSport, and Raw Elements.
Insect Repellant: Insect repellent is essential when visiting the U.S. Virgin Islands, as it helps protect against mosquito bites and other insects.
