UMass Downs Oregon State 73-65

Daniel Hankins-Sanford turned in a 24-point, 11-rebound double-double, while Marcus Banks added 14 points to lead the UMass Minutemen (4-3) in a 73-65 win over Oregon State (3-4) in the seventh-place game at the 2025 Paradise Jam.

In a back-and-forth opening contest on the tournament’s final day, there were five ties and eight lead changes in the contest.

UMass was dominant on the inside, outscoring Oregon State 42-22 in the paint; and took advantage of a 17-7 advantage on the offensive glass, scoring 20 second-chance points to OSU’s two.

UMass returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 3, hosting Harvard at the Mullins Center; while Oregon State’s next action will come on Saturday, Nov. 29, in a home contest against Cal Baptist.
