Yale Opens Paradise Jam With 73-67 Win Over Green Bay

Yale (4-1) placed four players in double figures, led by a 13-point, five-rebound, four-assist effort by Nick Townsend, as the Bulldogs opened the 2025 Paradise Jam with a 73-67 win over Green Bay (1-5) on Friday.

After Yale pushed ahead to a nine-point (39-30) halftime lead, Green Bay was able to narrow its deficit to as few as two points (69-67) in the final minute of the game; but missed a potential game-tying layup with 10 seconds to play and was forced to foul.

Riley Fox and Casey Simmons both added 11 points apiece in the winning effort, while Samson Aletan added ten. Devon Arlington grabbed a team-best six rebounds for Yale.

Green Bay was paced by a 20-point, eight-board effort by Marcus Hall.

The Bulldogs return to action on Sunday, facing the winner of the UMass/Charleston contest at 6:30 p.m. AST while Green Bay will face the losing team of that same contest at 4 p.m. Saturday.
