Tigers Stop Cougars In Reef Division Final
Flau’jae Johnson led No. 5 LSU (8-0) with her 16-point, five-rebound performance, leading a cast of five Tigers to reach double figures as LSU captured the Reef Division championship of the 2025 Paradise Jam with a 112-35 win over Washington State (1-7) on Saturday.
Johnson was one of seven Tigers to reach double figures, as Jada Richard (14 points), MiLaysia Fulwiley (12 points), Grace Knox (12 points), Mikaylah Williams (12 points), and Zakiya Johnson (12 points) all reached the milestone. Washington State was led by Charlotte Abraham’s 10 points.
LSU used a 44-0 run, starting at the 5:01 mark of the third quarter and going until there were just 53 seconds remaining in the game, to stretch the game out to a 77-point advantage.
The Tigers return to action on Thursday, Dec. 4, traveling to Durham, N.C. for a matchup with Duke as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. Washington State heads to Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Dec. 3 to match up against BYU.
