Yale Advances To Paradise Jam Title Game

Nick Townsend poured in a career-high 32 points and added nine rebounds to pace the Yale Bulldogs (5-1) in a 74-63 win over Charleston (3-4) on Sunday at the 2025 Paradise Jam.

With the win, Yale advances to the Paradise Jam championship game at 9 p.m. AST Monday. Yale will face the winner of the Evansville/Akron matchup, while Charleston will face the losing team from that game in a 6:30 p.m. tilt.

The Bulldogs led wire-to-wire in a contest that saw Yale outshoot Charleston 46.6 to 38.2 percent. Both teams turned in identical rebounding performances with 35 total.

Isaac Celiscar joined Townsend in double figures with a 12-point performance. Chol Machot led Charleston with a 15-point performance on five-of-six shooting from the floor.  Machot also led Charleston with six rebounds.
