Boise State Holds Off Tulane Charge To Win Harbor Division
Dani Bayes scored a team-high 20 points, while Tatum Thompson added 19 as the Boise State Broncos (7-1) held off a late charge by Tulane (3-4), downing the Green Wave 81-76 in the Paradise Jam Harbor Division Championship Game.
Boise State had opened up an 18-point (67-49) lead in the fourth quarter but Tulane raced back, bringing the game to within three points (79-76) in the game’s final minute. However, the Broncos were able to convert free throws at the end to seal the win.
Natalie Pasco (15 points) and Mya Hansen (10 points) both reached double figures in the win. Mecailin Marshall led Tulane with 21 points while Kanija Daniel chipped in 20.
Boise State returns to action on Saturday, December 6, hosting Cal Baptist; while Tulane’s next game will be Thursday, Dec. 4 at home against New Orleans.
